Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity which provides helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.
It costs £4 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives. The charity relies on generous donations to keep operational, as it receives no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery grants.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is based at a purpose-built airbase in Semington, near Trowbridge. The charity is operational up to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year. On average, they are called to three potentially lifesaving incidents a day.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance can fly to anywhere in the county of Wiltshire within 11 minutes and it takes just four minutes to fly to the centre of Bath.
PlatePlus are proud to partner with the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, charities depend on the support and goodwill of people who believe in the causes they represent and the good work they do. The PlatePlus number plate holder provides a highly visual way of raising awareness and for every Wiltshire Air Ambulance PlatePlus System and accessory sold we will donate 15% of the proceeds to the charity.
